thai-bo is a non-contact martial arts based fitness system and therefore classes are quite physical and challenging but easy to follow.  There are three levels of intensity and technical ability; but a normal class starts with warm up and stretching, proper warm up and flexibility training is very important, followed by basic punching, kicking and combinations to improve co-ordination, balance and technical ability.  The next stage consists of partner and pad work to help develop power, timing, distancing and confidence as you see yourself improving technique, speed and power.

Following this is our circuit training, which is vital in order to increase stamina and improve general fitness and the endurance stage, during which we dedicate a little time to work on building strength and tone in our arms, legs and abdominals.  We end our classes with a cool down set of breathing and gentle stretching exercises.
